Remains of hydrogen, oxygen found after Curiosity rover test - Tucson News Now

Mars could have supported life, according to Rover test

The right conditions to sustain life may have once existed on Mars.

The rover Curiosity discovered key ingredients for life during an analysis of rock samples.

Scientists identified a range of chemicals in the samples, including sulfur, hydrogen and oxygen.

The evidence means living microbes might have actually called the planet home at one time.

Researchers said they plan to drill more samples to help confirm these results.
