TUCSON, AZ (Tucson News Now) -

A temporary employee of Tucson Unified School District has been arrested on suspicion of sexual conduct with a minor.

According to Pima County Sheriff's Deputy Tom Peine, Juan Francisco Esquivias, 21, was arrested on March 4.

Esquivias was an attendance clerk at Lawrence Intermediate School at 4850 W. Jeffrey Road, near West Valencia and South Mark roads.

The victim, a 15-year-old boy, is not a TUSD student.

According to a statement from TUSD spokeswoman Cara Rene, Esquivias was terminated after a School Safety investigation revealed "inappropriate staff conduct which violated Governing Board policy."

Peine says Esquivias is facing charges of sexual conduct with a minor and aggravated luring.
