TUCSON, AZ (Tucson News Now) -
City
councilwoman Karin Uhlick has qualified for reelection, according to a news release.
The
Ward 3 representative secured a spot on the 2013 ballot for reelection after
collecting 300 signatures from her district.
She
began collecting signatures on March 2, although nominating petitions will not
be accepted by the city clerk's office until Monday, April 28.
She
has announced major endorsements form small business owners, neighborhood
leaders, elected officials, allied organizations and community activists.
She
was elected to the Tucson City Council in 2005.
