Suspect arrested in Jacksonville bank drive-thru robbery

JACKSONVILLE, TX (KLTV) -

The Jacksonville Police Department reports that on March 18 at approximately 12:42 p.m., police detectives and patrol officers arrested Michael Deangelo Johnson, 25, at 701 Canada in Jacksonville.

Johnson was arrested on a warrant charging him with Aggravated Robbery, a first-degree felony, that stems from the robbery and shooting of Louise Barnett at the Austin Bank drive-thru. The robbery occurred on November 16, 2012.

Another suspect is also in custody at the Cherokee County jail on another robbery charge, police say.

Detectives report that they expect to make additional arrests in the near future and that the investigation is ongoing.
