A Lebanon business owner was convicted of selling drugs from his Marathon gas station.
Hamza Shalash was found guilty on Wednesday for selling bath salts and various types of synthetic marijuana known as 'Spice' from his gas station, located on North Broadway in Lebanon.
Lebanon Police, Ohio Department of Public Safety and Warren County Drug Task Force agents conducted an extensive investigation from fall of 2011 into early 2012. Authorities say multiple people and undercover agents were able to buy drugs from Shalash's Marathon station.
On Wednesday, Shalash was found guilty of nine counts of drug trafficking and one count of engaging in a pattern of corrupt activities.
He will be sentenced in approximately six weeks, facing more than 40 years in prison if sentenced consecutively on each of the counts for which he was found guilty.
