TUCSON, AZ (Tucson News Now) - Tickets for tonight's estimated $260 million Powerball jackpot can be purchased until 6:59 p.m. at an Arizona retailer.
Twenty $1 million Powerball second prize winning tickets have been sold in Arizona since January 2012 when $2 Powerball launched.
Just this week two people came forward to accept their $1 million dollar Powerball second place prizes.
The first winner, a Maricopa widowed woman, purchased her ticket at a Fry's Food Store.
The second winner, a snowbird named General Marsh, purchased his tickets at a Circle K in Phoenix.
The recent Powerball enhancements have also resulted in more winners overall, and also more money coming in for the state.
