NOGALES, AZ (Tucson News Now) - Customs officers seized more than 26 pounds of cocaine at the Dennis DeConcini Port on Tuesday.
Officers referred Lilia Guadalupe Martinie-Munoz, 21, of Nogales, Sonora, Mexico, for further inspection when she attempted to enter the United States in her car. A drug dog detected the presence ofdrugs, and officers found 10 packages of cocaine in the trunk.
The drugs, worth approximately $237,000, and vehicle were processed for seizure. Martinie-Munoz was arrested on drug charges.
