Suspect caught trying to break into Delhi home

DELHI, OH (FOX19) -

A man has been arrested for trying to break into a Delhi home.

Just before noon on Thursday, officers were dispatched to the 4500 block of Fehr Road for a burglary in progress. 

Upon arrival, an officer observed a male subject, later identified as Aron Fitch, flee from the east side of the residence. 

Fitch, after observing marked units, fled into a nearby apartment, and was apprehended a short time later.

Police say he attempted to gain entry by shattering a window pane on the rear door. 

He was charged with one count of attempted burglary and taken to the Hamilton County Justice Center.
