MT. LEMMON, AZ (Tucson News Now) -

A 19-year-old University of Arizona student died after a Friday motorcycle accident on Mount Lemmon, Pima County Sheriff's Deputy Tom Peine told Tucson News Now.

Spencer Repp crashed and went over a guardrail near Milepost 12 on the Mount Lemmon Highway, while driving south, Peine said.

The accident happened around 5:20 p.m. Friday.

Repp was airlifted to local hospital, where he died Friday night, Peine said.

Speed was a factor in the crash, Peine said.

Repp was orginally from the state of New York and was in the Delta Tau Delta fraternity.
