Record-breaking attendance for Opening Day

CINCINNATI, OH (FOX19) -

There were no shortage of fans Monday at Great American Ball Park.

The Cincinnati Reds Opening Day game was the largest regular-season crowd in Great American Ball Park (GABP) history. At the game, officials announced the final number of 43,168.

The 2013 season kicked off at 4:10 p.m. against the Los Angeles Angels.

Reds starter Johnny Cueto squared off against the Angels Jered Weaver.

Reds outfielder Ryan Ludwick dislocated his right shoulder while sliding into base during the third inning.

    According to the FDA, the Ziegenfelder Company of Wheeling, WV, is voluntarily recalling about 3,000 cases of Budget $aver Cherry Pineapple Monster Pops and Sugar Free Twin Pops because they have the potential to be contaminated with Listeria monocytogenes.
