The Federal Bureau of Investigation today announced that an Arizona man wanted in connection with multiple robberies in 2003 was arrested in Oklahoma on Monday on outstanding felony warrants from Pima County.
A news release from the FBI says Jerry Lee Hearn, 53, has been living in Oklahoma City under an assumed name for the past 10 years.
According to the FBI, the warrants for Hearn included four counts of armed robbery and four counts of aggravated assault with a deadly weapon. The crimes charged include robberies of a bank, two restaurants and a convenience store, which happened between June and August of 2003, the release said.
Hearn was arrested in Oklahoma City without incident and admitted his true identity to arresting agents, the release said.
Hearn was booked into the Oklahoma City Jail and is awaiting extradition to Arizona.
