Motorcyclists hurt in crash on Loop 101 in Scottsdale

SCOTTSDALE, AZ (CBS5) -

Two people riding separate motorcycles were taken to a nearby hospital after a crash on a freeway in Scottsdale.

The crash on southbound Loop 101 Pima Highway at Shea Boulevard happened just after 11 a.m., according to the Arizona Department of Transportation, and closed the southbound HOV lane.

The wreckage was cleared just before noon and traffic was flowing normally.

No other information was immediately available.
