TUCSON, AZ (Tucson News Now) -

Border authorities arrested a Douglas woman Saturday and accused her of attempting to smuggle more than 200 pounds of marijuana through the Douglas Port of Entry.

According to a news release from the U.S. Customs and Border Protection, a narcotics canine alerted agents to the presence of drugs in the woman's Chrysler sedan. Officers then found 196 packages of marijuana, valued at $105,000.

The 22-year-old woman was turned over to the U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement's Homeland Security Investigations.

The drugs and car were processed for seizure.
