SURPRISE, AZ (CBS5) -

Three people were rescued after their car landed in a canal in Surprise Wednesday evening, police said.

One of the occupants was a 7-month-old child, the Maricopa County Sheriff's Office said. All of them suffered minor injuries.

Few details have been released about the crash near Citrus and Cactus as deputies continue their investigation.
