A light plane was forced to belly land at Scottsdale Airport after it experienced landing gear problems.
A Piper PA24 landed gear-up on Runway 21 around 12:20 p.m., said FAA spokesman Ian Gregor.
The pilot, who was the only person on board, escaped injury, Gregor said. There was minor damage to the plane.
The pilot's name was not released.
