PHOENIX (CBS5) -

A popular Mexican grill is closing across the Valley.

CBS 5 News has confirmed that all Baja Fresh locations in the Phoenix area will be closed starting Saturday, April 13.

CBS 5 News contacted their corporate office and spokesman Jerry DeLucia said they were unaware of any closings. DeLucia said they have contacted the local franchise owner and has not been able to reach him.

There's not a lot of information as to why they are closing but it sounds like the other Arizona locations will remain open.

The Phoenix New Times is reporting that some of the closed down locations will eventually reopen as "America's Taco Shops."
