La Frontera Arizona will open an innovative community intended to create many jobs.
The Sunnyside Pointe Villas, a housing development for senior citizens, is expected to employ more than 120 people.
This project will include 90 single-family rental units for seniors with incomes from 40% to 60% of the area median income. There are also 60 one bedroom units, 30 two-bedroom units. All homes include a kitchen, washer and dryer and an e-car garage.
The Community Center holds a large multipurpose room for events, a reading area, a kitchen and offices provided by La Frontera Center and the Pima Council on Aging.
