UA grad named Vending Operator of the Year

TUCSON, Ariz. (Tucson News Now) - Todd Elliot, vice president and general manager of Tomdra Inc., a Tucson based vending machine services company has been named the National Automatic Merchandising Association Vending Operator of the Year.

Elliot, a University of Arizona graduate has been working at Tomdra Inc., a business that has been in his family since its founding in 1966, for 23 years. Today, Elliot is being recognized for his dedication to his customers and eye for innovation and cutting edge technology.

"He helps lead the effort to provide consumers with important nutrition information they need through NAMA's Balanced for Life and Fit Pick programs. We are proud to recognize Todd Elliot as Vending Operator of the Year," said Dan Mathews, executive vice president and chief operating officer of NAMA.

Elliot, who also provides vending services to the KOLD News 13 breakroom, will receive his award on April 25 during the OneShow, the nation's largest vending and refreshment services trade event in Las Vegas.
