YAVAPAI COUNTY, AZ (CBS5) -

Police are asking for the public's help in finding the crooks who broke into a trailer at a construction site in Yavapai County and took $21,000 worth of equipment.

The Yavapai County Sheriff's Office said the trailer at a work site on Highway 260 near mile post 237 in Camp Verde was burglarized between April 4 and April 8.

The suspects stole the following items, according to YCSO:

  • Honda air compressor
  • Two Lincoln battery powered grease guns
  • Two Honda 2000 watt invertor generators
  • Stainless steel tool box with various tools
  • Two Spectra Precision Laser LL500 laser level
  • Honda GX120 jack tamper
  • Two Stihl gas powered TS420 saws

The construction foreman told police the trailer was locked on April 4, and employees took extra measures of parking a large tractor in front of the door to block access.

When workers arrived on April 8, the trailer was moved and the door was open.
