The Pima County Sheriff's Department is looking for a man considered "armed and dangerous" after fleeing the scene of a Tucson bank robbery.
According to Pima County Sheriff's Deputy Tom Peine, a man described as Hispanic attempted to rob a Wells Fargo branch at the Safeway located at 2940 West Valencia Road around 3:30 p.m.
Before fleeing the scene, he showed a handgun inside the Safeway. He fled on what can be described as a beach cruiser bike going in the Northwest direction.
He is described as being between the ages of 35-50, 5'10'', 160 lbs. He is clean shaven, wearing a dark sweater, blue denim pants and a black U of A hat.
Anyone with information on the suspect is urged to call 911 or 88-CRIME.
