TUCSON, AZ (Tucson News Now) -

The first sporting event took place in Boston tonight since the tragic twin bombings at the marathon on Monday.

The NHL's Bruins hosted the Buffalo Sabres.

The great Bobby Orr's statue wears a shirt, honoring 8-year-old Martin Richard, one of the three bombing victims.

The crowd cheered after an emotional video to honor Boston's first responders with chants of "USAs" as well as rippling through the arena.
