Phoenix house catches fire for second time

PHOENIX (CBS5) -

A house known to be used by squatters in Phoenix went up in flames Wednesday night, according to the Phoenix Fire Department.

The Phoenix Fire Department was called out to the 16400 block of 21st Street in north Phoenix for a house on fire. According to the fire department, this is not the first time the house has caught fire.

No one was in the house when the fire department arrived, nor was anyone injured because of the fire.

The house has significant damage according to the fire department.

    According to a news release from the U.S. Attorney's office District of Arizona, 48-year-old Michael Alvarez Martinez had previously pleaded guilty to one count of abusive sexual contact of a minor.
