CINCINNATI, OH (FOX19) -

A suspect who was wanted for an identity theft case dating back to 1999 has turned himself in to police.

Investigators say Thomas Hunter took the identity of Bradley Scott, 54, starting back in 1999.

The suspect used Scott's information to get an Ohio driver's license. He has held jobs and filed for Worker's Compensation claims under Scott's identity. The suspect even managed to have Hamilton County Job and Family Services garnish the real Bradley Scott's monthly check for the unpaid child support owed by the suspect.

Hunter is being held on a $50,000 bond.

Police say he gave officers several false names after turning himself in.
