Trial date set for Wildcats running back

TUCSON, AZ (Tucson News Now) -

A trial date has been set for Arizona Wildcats running back Ka'Deem Carey, who faces charges of disorderly conduct and assault.

At a pre-trial hearing today in Tucson City Court, a judge set July 12 as the trial date.

Carey faces charges of disorderly conduct and assault from an incident involving his pregnant ex-girlfriend.

Carey's attorney told The Daily Wildcat Carey is innocent of the charges and looks forward to having his day in court and resolving the matter.
