TUCSON, AZ (Tucson News Now) -

A mobile home was destroyed by fire Tuesday night in the 700 block of W. Budmoore Terrace and displaced a woman in the Sleepy Hollow Mobile Home Park.

According to the Tucson Fire Department, the homeowner accidentally dropped a match, igniting the paper under her as she tried to light a cigarette.  The owner noticed the flames and was able to escape without injury.

The fire started around 6 p.m. and was under control within 15 minutes, Tucson Fire Capt. Barrett Baker said, but not before burning down the trailer.

Budmoore Terrance is about 1 mile west of the Grant Road-Oracle Road intersection.

Commuters saw heavy smoke from the scene.

The Red Cross assisted the woman, who's in her 60s, with lodging, food, clothing and medication.
