TEMPE, AZ (CBS5) -

A dog stolen during a home burglary on Friday has been found safe, but the two suspects are still on the loose, police said.

Lucky, a 10-year-old Chihuahua, was turned in to the Tempe office of the Arizona Humane Society on Thursday.

The owners are out of town and Lucky was handed over to a family member, Tempe police Sgt. Michael Pooley said.

Police released two composite sketches of the suspects wanted in the burglary. A neighbor witnessed the burglars flee the area and helped detectives compile the sketches.

One of the suspects is described as Hispanic. He is about 19 years old. He is between 5'9" to 5'10" tall and weighs 170 pounds. He has a stocky build with short brown hair. He was clean shaven and last seen wearing a white T-shirt and blue jeans.

The second suspect is black. He is between  6' to 6'1" tall and weighs 170 pounds. He has a thin build with a high black afro. He was clean shaven and last seen wearing a black sweatsuit.

The vehicle is described as a blue four-door Toyota sedan with a personalized environmental plate.

People with any information about the suspects or burglary are asked to call the Tempe Police Department 480-350-8311.
