Open house on Joaquin Murrieta park changes

TUCSON, AZ (Tucson News Now) -
The City of Tucson Parks and Recreation Department invites the public to participate in the continuing discussion on the future needs and improvements to Joaquin Murrieta Park and neighboring properties. 
 
Tuesday, staff will talk about the results from comments taken at the last public meeting. Vice Mayor Regina Romero, department staff and the project consultant will lead a discussion and receive additional ideas on current needs of the park.
 
The open house is at El Rio Neighborhood Center inside the Senior Activity Room at 6 p.m. The address is 1390 W. Speedway Blvd.
