(RNN) - Passengers should make sure their thirst is quenched before getting on a Frontier Airline's flight.

Coffee, tea, juice and soda will now cost passengers $1.99.

The airline announced the new changes on Wednesday which also include additional carry-on bag charges for those who book flights on third-party websites, like Travelocity, Expedia and others. A second carry-on bag will still cost all passengers $20.

The new changes are a ploy for customers to book flights on their website, FlyFrontier.com. The changes are also in part to satisfy complaints from Frontier frequent flyers who want more space for their luggage. The changes for carry-on bags will be implemented this summer and charges for soda will begin July 1. All of the charges are posted their website.

"Frontier continues to make it easier for customers flying with Frontier to pay only for the services they use, which allows us to continue lowering fares," said Daniel Shurz, Frontier's senior vice president, commercial in a press release.

Frontier Airlines is owned by Republic Airways Holdings, operating out of Indianapolis, IN and Denver, CO.

Passengers are used to paying extra for the convenience of carry-on baggage, but other airlines are trying to make a little extra money with other fees. Various airlines across the world are charging customers by weight.

Southwest Airlines requires oversized passengers to buy two seats, while Samoa Airlines charges by the pound.
