Traffic moving again on NB 71 after crash

Traffic is moving again on northbound I-71 following an accident Friday afternoon.

A crash involving multiple vehicles was reported near the Red Bank Rd exit around 3 p.m. At least one person was been taken to Bethesda North Hospital with unknown injuries.

Vehicles were at a crawl beginning at William Howard Taft, reaching all the way northward at Stewart Avenue. At one point, traffic was moving at less than 25 miles per hour.

No word yet on the cause of the crash.
