Registration closed for Sunday Flying Pig events

CINCINNATI, OH (FOX19) -

Registration for all Flying Pig Marathon Sunday events are now closed as all races have met capacity.

Flying Pig representatives say that all races have met capacity for participant amenities such as shirts, medals bags and posters.

No registration will be available on site for Sunday's races including the full marathon, half marathon and 4-person relay.

On Friday evening, the Flying Pig Marathon announced that the 10K and 5K races were also sold out based on participant amenities.

The total number of weekend participants for all combined events is expected to exceed 33,000 setting a record for participation for the Flying Pig Marathon. Total participation in 2012 was just under 31,000.
