We're hearing from our state attorney general for the first time since he's been cleared of campaign finance charges.
Earlier this week, a Maricopa County Superior Court Judge blocked the campaign finance charge against Horne.
The judge blocked the Maricopa County Attorney's case against Horne basically saying he didn't follow the right procedures.
Horne was accused of illegally creating a campaign committee that raised a half million dollars. The money raised went toward TV commercials against his opponent who barely lost the race.
The court found Arizona's secretary of state shouldn't have given the case to the Maricopa County Attorney.
"The order speaks for itself," said Horne. The judge had found the county attorney in Maricopa County didn't have jurisdiction. THe county attorney refused to accept that."
The Maricopa County Attorney's reasoning for skipping Horne was because of the conflict of interest.
The superior court judge ruled based on what the law says.
