Marana PD in search of suspected armed robber

TUCSON, AZ (Tucson News Now) -

The Marana Police Department seeks the public's help in identifying an individual believed to be responsible for an armed robbery of a CVS Drug Store in the 3700 block of W. Ina Road.

According to Sgt. Jose Alvarez with the Marana Police Department, the suspect implied that he had a weapon when he approached the pharmacy counter and demanded prescription drugs from the pharmacist on May 4, just after 8 p.m.

He was last seen running east from the store. 

The suspect is described as a 40-year-old Caucasian male, about 6' tall, and was last seen wearing a long sleeve maroon shirt with a blue collar, blue shorts and brown leather shoes.

Anyone with information regarding the suspect is urged to call 911 or 88-CRIME.

It was not determined whether anyone was injured.
