More than two dozen local World War II veterans will soon board a plane for our nation's capitol.
The next honor flight happens tomorrow morning at Tucson International Airport.
The public is invited to see them off; you can gather at the airport at 4:30 a.m.
Twenty-eight veterans from all branches of the military are taking part and will spend a few days touring the sights in Washington, D.C., including the World War II Memorial which was created to honor their sacrifice.
They will return to TIA on Thursday evening.
