Scottsdale PD: Suns player target of sex assault probe

SCOTTSDALE, AZ (CBS5) -

Scottsdale police are investigating allegations of sexual assault against Phoenix Suns forward Michael Beasley.

Scottsdale police Officer David Pubins confirmed the probe Tuesday.

"The allegation involves an incident that took place on Jan. 13," Pubins said.

Pubins said the investigation is ongoing. He said police are interviewing those involved and processing physical evidence "to try to determine if criminal charges are appropriate for this incident."
