Tracking device leads to AZ bank robber's arrest

GOODYEAR, AZ (CBS5) -

A suspected bank robber is in custody after a tracking device a teller placed in the money bag led police to locate the getaway vehicle.

The armed suspect held up a branch of U.S. Bank inside Fry's Marketplace at 16380 W. Yuma in Goodyear just after 2:15 p.m. Tuesday.

It's not known how much money was in the bag.

Officers were able to stop the vehicle at 111th Ave. and Durango in Avondale. 

No other information was immediately available.
