Faulty arcade game sets fire to CrackerJax in Scottsdale

SCOTTSDALE, AZ (CBS5) -

A fire broke out at the Scottsdale sports park CrackerJax on Tuesday after an arcade game caught fire.

Firefighters responded to the fire contained within the sports park's indoor facility and were able to quickly extinguish the fire, which had been kept in check by the facility's indoor sprinkler system.

No injuries to staff, patrons or firefighters were reported.

CrackerJax management estimates the arcade and all other indoor activities will be out of service for five to seven business days. During that time, the outdoor activities will remain open while repairs are completed to the interior.
