A big night at the University of Arizona as more than 6,000 graduates received their diplomas.
For the first time, the commencement ceremony was held at Arizona Stadium because they outgrew the McKale Center.
U of A officials estimate 22,000 people attended Friday night's ceremony. Many of them from out of town and spent their dollars locally adding to the economic boost.
University Avenue businesses were packed Friday afternoon. A manager at Frog & Firkin tells Tucson News Now he was twice as busy as a normal night.

The walkout is expected to last at least through Friday, but no one is sure what will happen after that.
The Air Force Reserve Command held a scoping meeting to answer questions from those who attended. "Scoping meetings are hosted to inform the public about the proposed action and alternatives under consideration, and to 'scope' important issues to evaluate in the Environmental Impact Statement," the program's website explained.
