Comedians raise awareness about child sex trafficking

Posted: Updated:

Child sex trafficking is a problem all over the world and right here in Pima County. According to the group "Sold No More." In the last three months there have been four cases of child sex trafficking in Pima County.

Many in the community are trying to help put a stop to it. They did that in taking part in "Free to Laugh, Laugh to Free. The event took place at Victory Worship Center and used three professional comics to raise money and awareness about child sex trafficking. The comics Bone Hampton, Bob Stromberg and Darren Streblow hit the stage at the church.

This concept began about 4 years ago. The group "Sold No More" figured they could use comedy to spread the word about sex trafficking.

There were at least 1,000 tickets sold. All of the money from the ticket sales will go to the group "Sold No More." That money will be used to fight child sex trafficking in Pima County.
