TPD: Eastside WalMart evacuated following bomb threat

TUCSON, AZ (Tucson News Now) -

The WalMart located at East Speedway Boulevard and North Kolb Road was evacuated, according to the Tucson Police Department.

A store manager received a phone call of a bomb threat around 5:45 p.m. Saturday, according to Sgt. Chris Widmer. The customers were escorted out by police.

About an hour after police arrived at the scene. TPD called the area clear and customers were allowed back in.

The store is open and things are back to normal.

    One person is dead after a fixed wing, single engine airplane crashed in Cochise County, according to the sheriff's office. Cochise County Sheriff's Office - Mark J.
