TUCSON, AZ (Tucson News Now) -

Detectives with the Tucson Police Department have obtained an arrest warrant for a man who may be tied to a shooting death that took place at a local Walmart in early May.

Jeremy Shane Davis, 27, is wanted for the suspected homicide of Ricky Lomax, 25, at a 24-hour Walmart in the 3900 block of E. Grant Road on May 1.

Davis is described as an African American male, around 6 feet tall and about 200 pounds with brown hair and brown eyes. He has tattoos on his neck and arms.

He is wanted on one count of first degree murder and one count of prohibited possessor.

Detectives determined that the victim was involved in an altercation with several others outside the Walmart entrance. Lomax was shot multiple times by at least one of the individuals.

The suspects may be associated with a four-door white vehicle that was seen fleeing the scene after the shooting.

Anyone with information on the suspect is urged to call 911 or 88-CRIME.
