One of Colorado's most wanted sex offenders arrested in Tucson

TUCSON, AZ (Tucson News Now) -

U.S. Marshals service in Tucson arrested a 40-year-old man wanted in Colorado.

Juan Carlos Sanchez was arrested in Tucson near North Campbell Avenue and East Fort Lowell Road. He was considered to be one of Colorado's most wanted sex offenders.

In 2005, Sanchez was convicted of sexual assault on a child and authorities say he allegedly committed a similar crime in 2007.

He is now in the Pima County Jail without bound.
