A young victim has been rescued and a suspected child pornographer has been apprehended a little more than 24 hours after a public appeal for his identity and whereabouts was released.
According to Immigrations and Customs Enforcement's Homeland Security Investigations, a call sent to the organization's tip line led to an arrest of the suspect, "John Doe," on Wednesday afternoon.
His identity and additional arrest details are being withheld pending his first federal court appearance.
The victim he recorded being sexually abused is between seven and nine years old, according to police.
The Danish National Police discovered four child pornography videos on May 3 and referred the case to U.S. law enforcement for further investigation.
