A teacher at Ironwood Ridge High School has been arrested on charges of sexual conduct with a minor.
Oro Valley Police confirm that Robert Brush, a media arts teacher at the school, was arrested on the school campus today.
Todd Jaeger, the associate to the superintendent of the Amphi School District, said there have been two investigations for this ongoing case.
The first and separate investigation began in March by Oro Valley Police and the Pima County Attorney General's Office. Brush was put on administrative leave for several days, according to Jaeger. There was no evidence to support the allegations and he was sent back to work at that time.
The most recent allegation secured evidence of sexual conduct with a minor and he was arrested Thursday.
Brush was a new hire this school year, according to Jaeger.
He will be arraigned Friday morning.
