MCSO searching for missing Carefree man

CAREFREE, AZ (CBS5) -

Maricopa County Sheriff's deputies were looking for a missing Carefree man.

Deputies said phone records indicate a call was placed from 76-year-old Max Wyatt's cell phone near Carlsbad, CA, sometime between 10 p.m. Friday and 10 p.m. Saturday.

Wyatt's family said it was unusual for him not to keep in touch.

Wyatt was driving a dark-colored Mazda Miata.

Anyone with information about Wyatt, his car or his whereabouts has been asked to call the sheriff's office at 602-876-1011.
