How fantastic is Wraptastic?

LOUISVILLE, KY (WAVE) - How many times have you almost lost your mind trying to tear off a piece of plastic wrap or aluminum foil?

Well, we've all been there, but now an As Seen On TV product claims to end the wrap madness.

It's called Wraptastic. I tried using the product on Saran Wrap, and while it did cut the wrap, the top of the Wraptastic broke off.

Then I decided to switch to aluminum foil for another test. The Wraptastic spring loaded ends screwed in easily in both ends of the aluminum foil tube.

I had to push down on the cutter twice to get through the foil, then when I went to pull more foil out the whole roll came out! So if you buy this make sure it's securely fastened in the case. And the cutter is sharp - So watch your fingers!

While the Wraptasic does cut plastic wrap and aluminum fairly well, frankly for $10 I'd rather save my money and just do it the old fashioned way.

The Forest Service said Tuesday’s high winds, coupled with dry vegetation and low relative humidity – is a formula that can create massive wildfires. Like the Aspen Fire on Mt Lemmon that burned 84,000 acres in 2003.
