Report: Amber Alert issued for Tolleson boy

TUCSON, AZ (Tucson News Now) -

Tolleson Police have issued an Amber Alert for a missing 3-year-old Arizona boy.

According to the police report, the suspect, Israel Celis, Sr., broke into the residence of the victim's mother in Tolleson, west of Phoenix, and sexually assaulted her at gunpoint. He then duct taped her and abducted the child, police say.

The victim, Israel Celis, Jr., is described as Hispanic, around three feet tall and about 35 pounds with brown hair and brown eyes. He was last seen in a light green shirt, grey pants with a white stripe down the legs and wearing Transformer flip flops.

The 32-year-old suspect is around 5'6", and about 200 pounds with brown hair and brown eyes. He was last seen wearing a blue t-shirt and blue basketball shorts. He has a tattoo on his forearm and a full back tattoo. He may also be armed, according to the report.

The suspect's vehicle is a 2004 blue Chevy Tahoe with an Arizona license plate reading ABJ-8126.

The Celis family in this investigation is not connected to the Celis family in Tucson.
