2 children critical after Phoenix crash

PHOENIX (CBS5) -

Two children are in critical condition following a two-car collision in Phoenix Wednesday, fire officials said.

Two girls, ages 2 and 4, were ejected in the crash at 35th Avenue and Broadway, said Phoenix fire spokesman Larry Nunez.

Several other occupants were hurt but the extent of their injuries isn't known.

No other information was immediately available and the accident remains under investigation.
