CINCINNATI, OH (FOX19) -

After revelations that IRS workers in Cincinnati were targeting Tea Party groups that applied for tax-exempt status, members of the political movement plan to host what they're calling a "national town hall" event tonight at The Farm.

Although Tea Party groups are often aligned with Republicans, organizer George Brunemann says both political parties are at fault for the "habitual use of the IRS as a political weapon" and must be stopped. Brunemann says he was personally targeted by the IRS.

Republican Congressmen Steve Chabot and Brad Wenstrup are scheduled to speak along with Jenny Beth Martin of Tea Party Patriots, Greg Fettig of FreedomWorks, and Justin Binik-Thomas, who says he was also singled-out by the IRS.

FOX19 will be covering the event, which begins at 7 p.m.
