TUCSON, AZ (Tucson News Now) -

A south-side family was displaced Saturday morning after a fire gutted their home in the 3700 block of East Dover Stravenue.

The front of the house and a truck were on fire when Tucson Fire arrived at 3:37 a.m., Capt. Barrett Baker said.

"TFD units arrived on scene and reported the truck fully involved with about 75 percent of the front of the house also on fire," Baker said.

Eight units and 21 firefighters responded to the incident and controlled the fire in 17 minutes, Baker said.

There were no injuries to firefighters, and Red Cross was called to assist the family.

Six were displaced, including two women, two men and two grandparents.

The fire caused $60,000 in damages. The home was condemned, Baker said.
