A public meeting on an extension of the Valley's light-rail system in Mesa will be from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. Thursday in the fellowship hall of Mesa Church of Christ, 1223 E. Dana Ave.
Light-rail officials are expected to discuss the process by which traffic and parking will be analyzed, noise and vibration concerns, historical and archaeological resources and potential impacts from construction.
The 1.9-mile extension would be on Main Street from Mesa Drive to Gilbert Road.
